It has been widely believed that the age of a cat or dog is equivalent to 7 human years. However, this misconception overlooks the complexity of the actual aging process. During the first year, puppies and kittens experience rapid growth compared to subsequent years. The calculation of a pet's age involves intricate algorithms that vary based on species and size.
Our application was recently developed to provide users with the following features:
- Convert cat or dog age to human years effortlessly
- Calculate the elapsed time in dog or cat years since a specific date of birth
- Predict your pet's age in human years for upcoming years
- Display your pet's biological age, indicating the current life stage from young to elderly
- Access temperature guidelines for cats and dogs
In the profile mode, users can save their pet's information to ensure all details are captured:
- Track the precise age of any animal
- Record weight for any animal
- Monitor the "human age" exclusively for cats and dogs
- Log important events such as grooming, vaccinations, and surgeries
- Set reminders for vet appointments and pet milestones (Pro feature)
- Utilize filters to view vaccination history and schedules (Pro feature)
